Doulas need other doulas!
Due to the solitary nature of the job, having a network of support is essential for our well-being and professional growth. As a Birth or Postpartum Doula, trained by any organization, and practising in Greater Victoria or the Gulf Islands, you are eligible for membership.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
- a personalized profile and listing on the Doulas of Victoria website (with a DoulaMatch profile)
- access to the Doulas of Victoria online community group
- invitation to the Doulas of Victoria meetings and special events
- connecting with other doulas!
MEMBERSHIP FEES
Membership fee is $20.00 (payable in cash) for the current calendar year.
MEETINGS, EVENTS & WORKSHOPS
The Doulas of Victoria hosts regular meetings throughout the year. They are an opportunity to connect with other doulas, get some mentorship and listen to guest speakers. As a member of the Doulas of Victoria, you are required to attend at least two meetings per calendar year (but they’re always fun and informative!)
