Relevant Background:

I am passionate about a woman’s right to chose her birth experience. I have been working as a doula since 2008. Having had a home water Birth, attended by a midwife and a doula I know what an empowering and magical experience it is to be supported and respected by ones careproviders. In addition to my personal experiences, I am currently completing pre-requisites for entry into the Masters of Midwifery program at Bastyr University in Seattle, and am studying to become a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator through Douglas College, in Vancouver.

Services/fees:

Birth Doula Package - $550.00

Includes:

-Free initial consultation between you, myself, and your partner (if applicable)
-2 one hour pre-natal visits
-24/7 on call availability for onset of labour
-Continuous support throughout labour and birth
-Aromatherapy treatments (home birth only due to hospital regulations)
-2 one hour post-natal visits
-1 fifteen minute relaxation chair massage (during pre- or post-natal visits)
-Borrowing access to birth literature and DVDs
-Phone and email support

The Deluxe Birth Package - $700.00

Includes:

-All Birth Doula services listed above
-The Postpartum Birth Doula Package services (10 hours - See Postpartum Doula listing for details of package)
-A one hour postpartum relaxation massage and aromatherapy treatment (childcare not provided during this session)

Postpartum Doula services (standalone) - $22.00/hour

Includes:

-Infant care (up to 3 months)
-Emotional support
-Breastfeeding support
-Relaxation massage (One 15 minute massage per 2 hours of doula services)
-Light housework
-Meal preparation
-Grocery shopping, etc.

Postpartum Doula Package - $200.00

Includes:

-10 hours of all of the services listed above
-One 30 minute relaxation chair massage (childcare not provided during this session)
