How To Get Listed

If you are a doula and would like to be listed on this website, please email the following information found below (text and photo), then snail-mail or drop-off the annual listing fee of $25 (cash or cheques acceptable. Cheques made out to "Eva Bild") to:

*Please note the annual fee runs from January to December of every given year. If you join the directory after January, the fee is pro-rated at $2.50 for every month that is left in the calendar year.

A receipt can be mailed back for tax purposes, if requested. Listing is open to all doulas at the discretion of the administrator.

1. Photo of yourself – jpg format or hard copy

2. First and last names

3. Philosophy – to give parents an idea of whether your birth philosophy will work with theirs. This will be the text in quotations under your picture. 25 words max

4. Certificates held/training attended – in brief, please indicate certifications you have completed or are currently completing (eg: lactation consultant, etc)

5. Background – what experience do you bring to your work as a doula (eg: being a mother, number of births attended, related work experience) - 50 words max.

6. Services/fees - Include all that you offer with the related fee's. (eg: somepeople include belly casting in their fees, some charge extra, so beclear)

7. Area you service - (eg: Langford/Sidney/etc)

8. Phone number – where you want prospective clients to contact you

9. E-mail address – if you have one

10. Web-site – if you have one

11. Related business – we will list your related business (eg. cleaning service, massage) for no extra charge in the resources section. Please include name of business, nature of business (10 words max), contact name and contact phone/e-mail/web-site.
