After two very positive birthing experiences, one in the hospital (my daughter was born in 1996), and a birth at home, (my son was born in 1998) I decided to seek birth work as a career and have been doing so since 1998. I am honored to be part of such a miraculous and personal part of a woman’s life. Through my childbirth education work, my birth doula involvement and my postpartum work, I have been able to grow and challenge myself through the various needs of all my clients. I look forward to assisting women and their families with the amazing birth of their child and help nurture them through the often sensitive and overwhelming postpartum period. My goal is for women to trust their hearts and their bodies in both the birthing process and during the journey through new motherhood. Services/fees:
My fee for doula services is $650.00 My package includes two prenatal visits to assess how you forsee the birth of your child and to go over any birthing questions you may have. I will be on call for you closer to your due date, and will be by your side throughout your entire labor whether you choose to birth at home or in the hospital. I will conduct two postnatal visits, one usually within 24 hours after birth, then the other at 1-2 weeks after birth. I will be on call for you through phone and email anytime questions need to be answered, or if a good little cry needs to be tended to!! Area:
